Distinguished Teacher Awards

Since 1984, the Greenwich Distinguished Teachers Awards Committee (DTAC) has been recognizing and celebrating excellence among the dedicated teaching staff of the Greenwich Public Schools. Each year, DTAC selects up to six Distinguished Teachers from nominations submitted by parents, students, colleagues, and members of the community.

The main emphasis in identifying a distinguished teacher is the quality of work with students. To learn more about the criteria and eligibility requirements, head to the webpage dedicated to DTA that includes the Nomination Instruction Packet. We have many tools to help with your promotion, including a flyer in English and Spanish and a wonderful video, also in English and Spanish. Please utilize any and all of them!
