The WMS fields have been shut down for the past six years as the district has gone back and forth with the state and federal agencies on how to remediate the contaminants found in the soil. 

We are at an exciting and critical point in this work. The state has the Remediation Action Plan, and they are now seeking input from the community, via email and in a meeting at Western on January 11th at 6:00 pm.

Access to quality fields for our kids depends on your active participation in this process!
